Augmentiqs’ first solution is real-time telepathology and augmented reality of the microscope, enabling online consultations, live collaboration between remote locations and more efficient workflow. By bridging a live, online connection between pathologists, Augmentiqs is enabling better clinical outcomes, reduced costs, and more efficient workflow.

Augmentiqs was founded in 2016 by alumni of the digital pathology industry who believed current solutions were not adequately meeting the true needs of pathologists.
The original concept for Augmentiqs revolved around augmented reality of the existing microscope in order to enable pathologists to use digital toolsets without having to save an image to the computer. However, we very quickly realized that the most pressing needs for pathologists include collaboration and workflow enhancement. With a slight adjustment of focus, real time telepathology, automatic reporting and LIS integration became the key drivers of the Augmentiqs pathology system.
Today, Augmentiqs is changing the entire concept of digital pathology by enabling vital toolsets within the classic workflow. By creating a digital pathology ecosystem within the existing microscope, Augmentiqs is truly offering a fresh approach to digital pathology.
